2025-2026 Season

Founded in 1980 under the name of the F-M Chamber Chorale, The Fargo-Moorhead Choral Artists (FMCA) performs choral music of all artistic styles and musical periods. This auditioned ensemble represents a diverse range of ages, professions, and walks of life and is dedicated to enriching and enhancing artistic communities within Minnesota and North Dakota.

FMCA rehearses weekly on Tuesday evenings from September to April. The choir presents three subscription concerts and an annual benefit concert. In addition to these concerts, FMCA regularly collaborates with the Fargo-Moorhead Symphony Orchestra, providing our singers the opportunity to perform major choral and orchestral repertoire.

As a border choir, FMCA has been featured on both sides of the Red River at the Minnesota Music Educators Convention, the Convention of the North Dakota Music Educators, and the Region V Convention of the American Guild of Organists. In 2016, The Fargo-Moorhead Choral Artists was named the 2016 Arts Organization of the Year by The Arts Partnership.

Celebrate the joy of music, movement, and springtime with the Fargo-Moorhead Choral Artists as we close our 2025–26 season! Rhythms of Life features Johannes Brahms’ beloved Liebeslieder Walzer (Lovesong Waltzes), along with a lively selection of
works for choir and four-hand piano. Pianists Susan Nagel and Albina Khaliapova join the Choral Artists to bring this music to life. With songs that dance, sway, and sing of love, laughter, and renewal, this concert is a celebration of the rhythms that connect us all.

A Singing Valentine

Dinner, Auction, Concert!

Join the F-M Choral Artists as we celebrate the Valentine season at our annual benefit event featuring a silent auction, libations and treats, a formal dinner, and a concert of love songs from the stage and screen. Reservations are required for this event, and dinner selections will be made in advance on our website. Third Avenue Quartet, will present concerts featuring Caroline Shaw’s To the Hands and Connor Koppin’s I Call Your Name –

Sing Unto The Sky

Join the Fargo-Moorhead Choral Artists and conductor Michael Culloton for a celebration of nature’s beauty in Sing Unto the Sky! This 80-voice ensemble, a cornerstone of the region’s choral tradition since 1980, presents a
program inspired by the natural world and its power to restore the spirit.
